Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  December 4, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.



(1) Escalation of the situation reported in the war zone in eastern Ukraine as Russian hybrid forces increased number of attacks to 38 over the last 24 hours;

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers used forbidden weaponry, in pareticular 120-mm mortar launchers against Ukrainian troops near Troytske and Luhanske; the enemy’s shelling with grenade launchers and small arms reported in Novooleksandrivka, Zhovte, Zolote and Krymske;

(3) Donetsk and Mariupol direction: Avdiivka became the hottest spot on this direction as Russian proxies actively fired qwith all available infantry weapons as well as used tank fire against Ukrainian troops; Russian occupeirs shelling from 82-mm mortar launchers reported near Verkhnyotoretske and Lebedynske; the enemy used grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms during attaks in Talakivka and Maryinka;

(4)  1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action and 4 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded and 1 in actions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day.
