Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of December 26, 2017

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  December 26, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.

(1) In accordance with the new Minsk aggrements starting from December 23,2017 regime of the Christmass/New Year ceasefire has been established all across the front line in the war zone in eastern Ukraine;

(2) Russian hybrid forces launched 2 attacks against Ukrainian troops over the past 24 hours;

(3) Luhansk direction: Russian proxies shelling with the use of small arms reported near Stanytsya Luhanska;

(4) Donetsk and Mariupol directions: Russian occupiers fired with forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers and released 5 mines upon Ukrainian troops positions near Pavlopol;

(5) Russian UAV has been spotted over the Ukrainian settlement of Novgorodske;

(6)  No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in action reported among Ukrainian Armed Forces for the past day in the war zone in eastern Ukraine.
