Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  December 11, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces continue attacks from all types of mortars forbidden by the Minsk agreements against Ukrainian servicemen in the war zone in eastern Ukraine; the enemy opened fire 35 times over the last 24 hours;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers fired from mortar launchers upon Tryokhizbenka, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Travneve and Zaytseve; the enemy’s attacks with grenade launchers and light infantry weapons reported near Lozove, Novooleksandrivka, Svitlodarska and Luhanske;
(3) Donetsk direction: Avdiivka reported as an epicenter of Russian forces attacks on this direction; the enemy released about 30 of forbidden 82-mm mortar mines upon Ukrainian troops positions near Butovka mine; Russian proxies shelling with grenades high caliber machine guns upon Ukrainian troops positions took place in Kamyanka, Avdiivka and Krasnogorivka;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian proxies fired with small arms in Starognativka;
(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian servicemen, but 5 servicemen were wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
