Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of November 15, 2017

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  November 15, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.


(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 23 powerfull attacks with the use of forbidden 122-mm multiple rocket launcher BM-21 GRAD, 152-mm artilley, mortars launchers and tanks against Ukrainian troops in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours; the enemy fired 13 times on Luhansk direction and 10 times on Donetsk and Mariupol direction; Ukraine troops were forces to return fire in 17 cases;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers launched 2-hours-long attack with 122-mm multiple rocket launcher BM-21 GRAD, 152-mm artillery, high caliber machine guns, APCs, grenade launchers and small arms in Zaytseve, where released 60 mines of 120-mm caliber, 12 mines of 82-mm caliber and 36 rocket rounds upon Ukrainian troops positions; Russian proxies released  3 mines of 120-mm caliber in Novoluhanske; the enemy shelled with 120-mm mortars and released 2 mines upon Ukrainian troops in Lozove;  Russian tanks, high caliber machine guns, small arms and 82-mm mortar fire reported near Novgorodske; the enemy fired with 82-mm mortar launchers and released 6 mines in Novotoshkivske and 3 mines in Luhanske; to this end, Russian forces used high caliber machine guns, grenade launchers and small arms during attacks in Svitlodarsk and Troyitske;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian troops used 120-mm mortar launchers  and released 12 mines upon Ukrainian troops positions in Verkhnyotoretske; the enemy launched 3 attacks with APCs, grenades and high caliber machine guns in Maryinka and Novotroytske; to this end, Russian invaders fired with grenade launchers and high caliber machine guns in Avdiivka, Starognativka and Krasnogorivka;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian proxies shelled with grenade launchers, high caliber machine guns, small arms, forbidden 120-mm mortars and released 2 mines, 82-mm mortars and released 3 mines in Shyrokino;
(5) No lethal ceasulties reported among Ukrainian troops, but 2 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in actions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

  • Seems like the ceasefire only effects Ukraine. While its expert artillery lies idle, Russian hybrid weapons are more copious and used more to Ukr disadvantages. So- end the ceasefire.
