Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of August 31, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.
(1) Russian hybrid forces inclreased to 17 number of attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the past 24 hours, including the use of forbidden arms.
(2) Russian proxies launched 11 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:
forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Vodyane (6 times) and Lebedynske,
forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Vodyane (6 times) and Troytske,
grenade launchers of different systems – near Troytske and Maryinka,
high caliber machine guns – near Novotroytske, Novomykhaylivka and Troytske,
easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Novomykhaylivka,
sniper fire – near Vodyane,
small arms – near Vodyane and Troytske.
(3) Russian forces launched 6 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:
forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske,
forbidden 82-mm mortar laucnhers – near Zolote-4,
APC fire – near Novoluhanske and Novotoshkivske,
automatic grenade launchers – near Zolote-4,
grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske,
easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Novozvanivka,
manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Mayorsk,
high caliber machine guns – near Mayorsk,
small arms – near Novoluhanske, Novozvanivka, Stasnytsya Luhanska and Mayorsk.
(3) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in actions and 1 serviceman was wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian servicemen for the past day.
