The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyansk areas.

In the directions Velika Novosilka – Staromayorske and Novosilka – Staromayorske, they were successful, they are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict fire damage, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.

In the direction of Bakhmut, Ukrainian troops continue to conduct offensive actions north and south of the city of Bakhmut. In the course of hostilities, the russian occupiers were forced to retreat from their positions northeast of Orikhovo-Vasylivka. Our soldiers have partial success, they are entrenched at the achieved frontiers. The enemy is putting up strong resistance, is actively using reserves, and is suffering huge losses. Heavy fighting continues.

On the night of July 19, 2023, the russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the south, using air-, land-, and sea-based cruise missiles, as well as Iranian shahed drones. Objects of critical infrastructure and military facilities were attacked, the main direction of the attack was Odesa. During several waves of attacks, the enemy used:
– 16 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles, presumably from the small missile ship “Ingushetia” and the frigate “Admiral Essen” from the Black Sea;
– 8 Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 long-range aircraft from the Black Sea;
– 6 “Onyx” cruise missiles from the coastal missile complex “Bastion” (Crimea);
– 1 Kh-59 guided air missile from the Su-35 fighter from the Black Sea;
– 32 attack UAVs of the “Shahed-136/131” type from the Chauda training ground (Crimea) and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Rostov region).

According to the results of combat operations, 37 air targets were destroyed by the air defense of the Air Force and air defense systems of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine:

13 Kalibr cruise missiles;

1 guided air missile Kh-59;

23 attack UAVs “Shahed-136/131”.

The strikes of the KH-22 and Onyx missiles were aimed at the infrastructure of the Odesa region. Local military administrations will report on the consequences of these strikes and the victims.

During the current and past days, the Air Force has carried out more than 20 airstrikes against objects, places of concentration of equipment and personnel of the russian occupiers.

During the past day, the russian occupiers launched a missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine – using 6 Kalibr cruise missiles and 35 Iranian shahed-136 drones. The forces and means of the Air Force destroyed 6 Kalibr cruise missiles and 31 drones.

In addition, the russians carried out 80 airstrikes and launched 74 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, industrial facilities, residential buildings and other civil infrastructure were destroyed.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions – over 20 combat clashes took place during the past day.

In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of hostile offensive groups.

In the Siversky and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 20 settlements, in particular, Seredyna-Buda, Popivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Stepne of the Sumy region and Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk and Budarky of the Kharkiv region came under fire.
In the Kupyan direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense.

The enemy launched an air strike in the Kislivka area. Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Synkivka, Kupyansk and Kislivka of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilogorivka, Luhansk region, and Spirny and Siversk, Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske and Bilogorivka in Luhansk region and Torske, Lyman, Berestov and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy fire from the enemy’s aircraft and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled the enemy’s attacks in the Bohdanivka area of the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Druzhba, Bila Hora and Aleksandro-Shultyny. More than 10 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Stupochki, Oleksandro-Shultyne, North and South of Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy launched an airstrike in the area of the city of Avdiivka. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery at more than 15 settlements, including Keramik, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Semenivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of russian troops in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka. The enemy shelled more than 10 settlements. Among them are Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, and Maksimilianivka in the Donetsk region.

In Shakhtarsk direction, in the areas of Rivopol in Donetsk region and Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhya region, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position. Carried out airstrikes near Velika Novosilka, Makarivka, and Rivnepole. More than 10 settlements were shelled, in particular, Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Zolota Niva and Shakhtarske of the Donetsk region were affected.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops.

He carried out airstrikes in the districts of Malaya Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orikhov and Pyatikhatok of the Zaporizhzhia region. Conducted artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, including Vilne Pole, Vremivka of the Donetsk region; Zaliznychne, Lobkovo, Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region; the settlements of Synelnikove and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Burgunka, Kherson Sadov, Berehove and Veletenske in the Kherson region and Ochakiv in the Mykolayiv region. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict fire damage, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.

The russian occupiers continue to rob the civilian population, appropriating the grain harvest of peaceful citizens of Ukraine. For example, in the temporarily captured Skadovsk of the Kherson region, the russian occupiers intensified the use of the port from July 10 to export this year’s grain to their ports.

Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces has struck 12 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, and 3 – on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.

During the past day, units of missile forces and artillery hit 1 enemy control post, 1 anti-aircraft missile complex, 16 artillery pieces in firing positions, 3 ammunition warehouses and 3 enemy EW stations.

In total, our soldiers eliminated 470 Russian invaders. The enemy lost 4 tanks, 8 armored combat vehicles, 31 artillery systems, 2 air defense systems, 46 operational-tactical UAVs, 6 cruise missiles, 19 vehicles and 6 units of special equipment.
