The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyansk areas.

In the direction of Bakhmut, Ukrainian soldiers continue to conduct offensive actions south of the city of Bakhmut. And in the direction of Urozhany, to the south and south-east of Staromayorskyi, they had partial success, and they established themselves at the achieved boundaries.

Also, during the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 3 rocket and 50 air strikes, launched 59 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 40 settlements, in particular, Khrinivka, Semenivka, Buchki, Yasna Polyana of the Chernihiv region; Znob-Novgorodske, Bunyakyne, Volfyne, Stepok, Velika Pisarivka in the Sumy region and Chervona Zorya, Mali Prohody, Gatyshche, Varvarivka, Rublene and Odradne in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders successfully repelled the attacks of russian troops in the area north of Sinkivka and north-east of Ivanivka, Kharkiv region. More than 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Masyutivka, Petropavlivka, Kucherivka, and Kislivka of the Kharkiv region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilogorivka, Luhansk region, and Spirny and Vesely, Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske, Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region were hit by enemy artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense, successfully repulsed enemy attacks on the outskirts of Klishchiivka and northeast of Druzhba, Donetsk region. The enemy launched an air strike in the Klishchiivka area. More than 15 settlements, including Malynivka, Markove, Bakhmut, Ivanovske, Bila Gora and Pleshchiivka of the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy fire from the enemy’s aviation and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled the attacks of Russian troops in the Avdiivka area and southeast of Severny, Donetsk region. The enemy launched an airstrike in the Avdiivka area of the Donetsk region. The settlements of Avdiivka, Karlivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the Marinka direction, the defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Marinka area of the Donetsk region. The enemy launched an airstrike in the Krasnohorivka region of the Donetsk region. Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka, Paraskoviivka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position in the Staromayorske district of the Donetsk region.

The russian occupiers also carried out airstrikes in the Blagodatne, Staromayorske districts of the Donetsk region. Vugledar, Odradne, Velyka Novosilka, Blagodatne, Storozheve, Staromayorske of the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery fire.

In the Zaporizhia direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area south of Novodanilivka, Zaporizhia region of the region. More than 20 settlements, including Temyrivka, Chervone, Biloghirya, Shcherbaki, Stepove, Novooleksandrivka of Zaporizhzhya Oblast and Nikopol of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, were hit by artillery fire.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the Kozatsk district of the Kherson region. More than 25 settlements, including Mykhailivka, Chervyn Mayak, Olhivka, Prydniprovske, Berehove, Stanislav of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson, were hit by enemy artillery fire; Kutsurub, Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region.

In the light of the successes of the offensive operation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, difficulties were noticed in the units of the russian occupying forces in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine with the timely provision of medical aid to wounded servicemen. For example, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, there is a shortage of beds in hospitals, as a result of which the wounded occupiers are sent to other regions. Only between July 28 and August 2, approximately 100 occupiers with multiple shrapnel wounds went to the hospital of the occupied city of Skadovsk, Kherson region, for treatment. In order to treat the occupiers near the battle line, the Russian military command transferred some local civilian hospitals in the occupied territories to the priority service of their wounded. As a result of heavy combat losses, the enemy is deploying additional military hospitals in civilian administrative buildings of the occupied territory of Ukraine. At the same time, in the conditions of the last arrival of wounded occupiers in the enemy’s hospitals, a lack of qualified medical personnel was recorded. Therefore, the occupation command is trying to attract doctors from the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular, at the end of July, military doctors from St. Petersburg, who previously served in African countries or Syria, arrived in the occupied city of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region. And a new group of military doctors from Rostov-on-Don arrived in the occupied settlement of Nizhny Torgai, Kherson region.

Over the past 24 hours, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one on an anti-aircraft missile complex and one more on the enemy’s logistics hub.

During the day, units of missile troops and artillery struck 3 control points, 6 artillery pieces in firing positions, the area of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy,
an ammunition depot, an enemy electronic warfare station, and an important enemy facility.

In total, during the last day, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 580 Russian occupiers, destroyed 16 tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 15 artillery systems, 1 helicopter, 4 UAVs of operational-tactical level, 16 vehicles and 4 units of special equipment.
