Russia – Ukraine war operational update of the General Staff of Ukraine for the last 24 hours of Russia – Ukraine war as of 6:00 a.m., June 24, 2023.

Over the past day, the russian forces launched a missile attack on the territory of Ukraine with 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, 9 Kh-22 missiles, 2 Kalibr sea-based missiles, 2 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 3 Iranian shahed drones.

Air defense forces and means shot down 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, one Kalibr cruise missile and three Shahed attack drones. Russian terrorists directed X-22 missiles at the cities of Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih.

As a result of the Russian terrorist attack, unfortunately, civilians have been killed and injured, including children with moderate injuries, dozens of private residential buildings, civilian farm buildings, and more than 50 private civilian cars have been completely destroyed and damaged.

In total, during the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 53 missile and 15 air strikes, as well as about 50 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lymans, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions – 29 combat clashes took place during the day.

In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas with Ukraine. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of Galaganivka settlements of Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Chuykivka, Rudenka, Fotovizh, Volfyne in the Sumy region, as well as Okip, Chervona Zorya, Veterinarne, Pylna, Kozacha Lopan, Ogirtseve, Gatyshche, Bochkove, Budarky, Chugunivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the direction of Berestovo, without success. Krasne Pershe, Figolivka, Dvorichna, Masyutivka, Kislivka, Berestov in the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Vesely. He carried out airstrikes in the region of Belogorivka, Luhansk region. Nevske and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Ivanovo district of the Donetsk region. Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka and New York of the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the Avdiivka and Severny regions of the Donetsk region. He carried out artillery shelling of the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Keramik, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Severne, Vodyane, Umanske, Vesele, Karlivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the Mariinka direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the Marinka area, without success. At the same time, he carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, Georgiivka, Kurakhove and Oleksiivka of the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Prechistivka, Zolota Niva, and Makarivka and shelled the settlements of Katerynivka, Bogoyavlenka, Novomykhailivka, Blagodatne, Vugledar, Prechistovka, Zolota Niva, and Novoukrayinka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive operations, and concentrates its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. He carried out airstrikes in the districts of Orikhiv, Novodanilivka, and Robotyne of the Zaporizhzhia region. He carried out artillery shelling of about 50 settlements, among them: Novodarivka, Levadne, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipole, Gulyaipilske, Charivne, Biloghirya, Orihiv, Primorske of the Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region; Dudchany, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Mykilske, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Kizomys of the Kherson region.

The enemy continues to suffer heavy losses in manpower and military equipment. At the same time, in order to hide losses, it uses the infrastructure of temporarily captured settlements to provide medical aid to its wounded servicemen. In particular, in the village of Kalanchak, Kherson region, in the premises of the central district hospital, the enemy set up a military hospital. There are about 100 Russian servicemen in it. In turn, it is prohibited to provide medical assistance to the civilian population.
In the temporarily occupied Kherson region, the process of evacuation of local collaborators with Russian passports in their own cars to the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea is being intensified. However, employees of the FSB of the Russian Federation carry out filtering measures against each traitor.

Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces has carried out 18 strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas and destroyed 1 enemy anti-aircraft missile system. Also, our defenders destroyed 6 reconnaissance UAVs.

Units of missile troops and artillery pr1 Strela anti-aircraft missile complex, 3 areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, 12 guns in firing positions and 2 enemy EW stations were hit by the train of the previous day.
