The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyansk areas. On the directions Mala Tokmachka – Verbove, Novodanilivka – Robotyne, they were successful, they are anchored at the achieved milestones.

In the direction of Bakhmut, Ukrainian troops continue to conduct offensive actions north and south of the city of Bakhmut. Fighting continues in the area of Kurdyumivka settlement. The occupiers put up strong resistance, used reserves, and suffered significant losses. The enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position in the area north of Priyutny, continues to put up strong resistance, moves units and troops, and uses reserves.

On the night of July 20, 2023, the invaders again attacked the southern regions of Ukraine! This time, Odesa and Mykolaiv were hit by Russian missiles.
In total, the enemy launched 19 cruise missiles and 19 kamikaze drones:
– 7 “Onyx” from the coastal missile complex “Bastion” (occupied Crimea);
– 4 KH-22 air-launched cruise missiles – launched from Tu-22 aircraft (Black Sea area);
– 3 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles, presumably from a submarine (Black Sea area);
– 5 “Iskander-K” land-based cruise missiles (Crimea);
– 19 strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type from two directions – southern (Chauda, occupied Crimea) and northeastern (Kursk, russia).
As a result of the combat work of our soldiers, 18 air targets were destroyed:

• 2 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles;
• 3 “Iskander-K” surface-based cruise missiles;
• 13 strike drones of the “Shahed” type.

During the current and past days, Air Force aircraft have carried out more than 20 airstrikes on the places of concentration of equipment and personnel of the Russian occupiers.

During the past day, the enemy used 16 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles, 8 KH-22 cruise missiles, 6 Onyx cruise missiles, 1 Kh-59 guided air missile and 32 attack UAVs for a massive air and missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. Shahed”. According to the results of the air defense operation, 13 Kalibr cruise missiles, 1 Kh-59 guided air missile and 23 Shahed attack UAVs were destroyed.

In addition, the enemy carried out 78 airstrikes and launched 69 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions – during the past day, about 30 combat clashes took place.

In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the village of Gremyachka, Chernihiv region. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, in particular, Girsk, Yeline, Leonivka of the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Bachivsk, Myropilla, Pokrovka of the Sumy region and Uda, Kozacha Lopan, Strelecha, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha and Budarka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense. The enemy launched an air strike in the Kislivka area. Dvorichna, Zapadne, Sinkivka, Kislivka and Berestov in Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the occupiers.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Nevsky, Novolyubivka, Belogorivka of the Luhansk region, and Yampol, Serebryanka, and Spirny of the Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske, Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, Berestov and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the direction of Bakhmut, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka area. The enemy launched an air strike near Diliivka. More than 10 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Markove, Bogdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochki and Oleksandro-Shultine of the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy fire from the enemy’s aircraft and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled the attacks of Russian troops in the Nevelsky area. The enemy launched missile and air strikes in the area of the city of Avdiyivka. At the same time, artillery bombarded more than 10 settlements, in particular, Lastochkina, Avdiivka, Karlivka and Nevelske of the Donetsk region were affected.

In the Mariinka direction, despite enemy airstrikes and artillery fire, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the advance of Russian troops in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka. The enemy shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Georgiivka, and Pobeda of the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the Novomykhailivka and Blagodatny areas of the Donetsk region. He shelled more than 10 settlements, including Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vugledar and Blagodatne in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. Made unsuccessful attempts restore the lost position in the area north of Priyutny, Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 settlements, including Novodarivka, Olgivske, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Biloghirya, Lobkovo of the Zaporizhia region, were hit by artillery fire; Dudchany, Kozatske, Lviv, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Berehove, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

In the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the russian invaders are trying to integrate the units and personnel of the so-called “Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the terrorist organizations “DPR” and “LPR” into the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. In particular, the re-certification of the employees of “main and central departments”, with a total number of up to 500 people, was completed. Those who refuse to serve in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation are transferred to combined assault battalions and forced to fight against Ukraine in the combat zone.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces has struck 7 areas of personnel concentration. Also, our defenders destroyed 2 operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs.

During the day, units of missile forces and artillery struck 4 areas of concentration of enemy manpower, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition depot, 11 artillery pieces in firing positions, 2 anti-aircraft defense equipment and an enemy electronic warfare station.

In total, our soldiers eliminated 530 Russian invaders. The enemy lost 6 tanks, 6 armored fighting vehicles, 19 artillery systems, 3 anti-aircraft guns, 3 anti-aircraft vehicles, 33 operational-tactical UAVs, 14 cruise missiles, 29 vehicles and 2 units of special equipment.
