The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyansk areas.

In particular, in the direction of Bakhmut, our troops continue to conduct offensive actions north and south of the city of Bakhmut. In the direction of Bila Gora – Andriivka, they were successful, they are anchored at the achieved milestones.

From the evening of July 13 to four o’clock in the morning of July 14, 2023, russian terrorists attacked Ukraine with 17 Iranian-made attack drones of the “Shahed” type from the southeastern direction, and from Primorsko-Akhtarsk. As a result of military operations in the southern and eastern regions, 16 drones were destroyed.

Over the past day, the Russian occupiers launched a missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 2 Kalibr cruise missiles, 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile and 20 Iranian Shahed attack UAVs. As a result of the successful combat operations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, 2 Kalibr cruise missiles and 20 attack drones were destroyed. Also, the enemy carried out 52 airstrikes and carried out about 50 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, civilians were injured, including children, residential buildings and other civil and administrative infrastructure were destroyed.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions, heavy battles continue. About 30 combat clashes took place during the day.

In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, during the past day, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the Veterinarnogr area of the Kharkiv region. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 15 settlements, in particular Kamin of the Chernihiv region; Pokrovka, Ryasne, Velyka Pysarivka of the Sumy region and Muravske, Oliynikove, Riznikove, Bologivka of the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense. The enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Kislivka and Kotlyarivka. Stroivka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.

During the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions east of Nevsky in the Luhansk region and east of Terni in Donetsk region in the Lyman direction. He carried out airstrikes in the districts of Nevsky and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirnyi in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy fire from the enemy’s aircraft and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the Berkhivka area. More than 15 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Diliivka, and North of Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy fire from the enemy’s artillery, our defenders successfully repelled the attacks of Russian troops in the Pervomaisky district. The enemy launched an air strike near Avdiivka. At the same time, he carried out artillery fire on more than 10 settlements, in particular Berdychi, Stepove and Avdiyivka of the Donetsk region.

In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Maryinka area. The enemy shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Georgiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Novomykhailivka. He carried out an air strike near Makarivka and shelled the settlements of Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Novoukrainka, Storozheve, Blagodatne and Makarivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. He carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Priyutne, Rivnopil, Mala Tokmachka, Orihiv, Malokaterinivka of the Zaporizhia region and Kozatske of the Kherson region. He carried out artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, including Novodarivka, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Biloghirya, Orihiv of the Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Antonivka, Chornobayivka, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict fire damage with artillery on identified enemy targets, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.

The Russian occupiers continue to use the practice of artificial resettlement and forced assimilation of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Thus, in the Heniche district of the Kherson region, the occupiers began the forced eviction to Russia of Ukrainian citizens who had not received or refused to receive from obtaining Russian citizenship, including families with children and the elderly. In their places of residence, the occupiers settle, usually, representatives of national minorities from impoverished regions of the russian Federation.

The Russian occupiers, in violation of international humanitarian law, continue to seize medical infrastructure and children’s health facilities in the temporarily occupied territories, therefore, in the city of Berdyansk, Zaporizhia region, the enemy is using one of the buildings of the city hospital to accommodate their wounded terrorists. And in the settlement of Zugres in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, the occupiers seized and are using the territory of the “Berezhok” recreation center to house their units and military equipment.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces has struck 8 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and 2 on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.

During the day, units of missile troops and artillery hit the area of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 2 ammunition depots, 10 artillery pieces in firing positions, 3 anti-aircraft defenses, a counter-battery radar station, a radio-electronic warfare station and another important enemy target.

In general, Ukrainian soldiers of the past era eliminated 550 Russian invaders, burned – 5 tanks, 9 armored fighting vehicles, 24 artillery systems, 2 anti-aircraft guns, 2 air defense vehicles, 31 operational-tactical UAVs, two cruise missiles, 24 vehicles and 10 units of special equipment .
