The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdyansk areas.

On the directions Novodanilivka – Shiroka Balka; Mala Tokmachka – Novopokrovka the Armed Forces of Ukraine have success in some areas, they are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict fire damage with artillery on the identified enemy targets, carry out counter-battery countermeasures. The enemy is putting up strong resistance, moving units and troops. Actively uses reserves.

In the direction of Bakhmut, Ukrainain troops continue to conduct offensive actions north and south of the city of Bakhmut. Here, on the southern flank of the offensive, they had partial success, and they established themselves at the achieved boundaries.

Russian terrorists continue to kill the civilian population of Ukraine, continue to ignore the laws and customs of war, and use terror tactics. On the night of July 13, 2023, russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 20 Iranian shahed drones. The directions of the attack are north-east from Kursk and south-east from Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The enemy also used two Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea and one Iskander-M ballistic missile from Dzhankoy in occupied Crimea. As a result of combat work, all 20 attack drones were destroyed, mainly in the Kyiv region. 2 Kalibr cruise missiles were also destroyed in different directions. Regarding the consequences of the missile launch from the Iskander-M OTRK, information is being clarified.

Anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy attack.

During the current and past days, the Air Force launched more than 15 group airstrikes against the Russian occupiers.

During the past day, the russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian shahed drones. A total of 15 kamikaze drones were involved. As a result of the successful combat work of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, 11 attack UAVs were destroyed. In total, the enemy carried out more than 60 airstrikes and launched 64 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded civilians, including children, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed.

The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions, heavy battles continue. More than 35 combat clashes took place during the day.

In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

The russian occupiers maintain military presence in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. During the day, they carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 10 settlements, in particular, Huta-Studenetska of the Chernihiv region; Vyntorivka, Manukhivka of the Sumy region and Vidrodenivske, Izbytske, Zemlyanka of the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainain soldiers are firmly holding the defense. The enemy launched an airstrike in the Kislivka district of the Kharkiv region. The settlements of Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk, Kislivka of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Lymanskyi direction, during the day, the russian occupation forces conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Novoselyvskyi area of the Luhansk region. They carried out airstrikes near Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirnyi, Vesely, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements, including Nevske, Serebryanskyi lis, Belogorivka in the Luhansk region, and Spirne, Berestov, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were hit by the russian artillery fire.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Stupochky, Aleksandro-Shultyny and Dilyivka. More than 15 settlements, including Oleksandro-Shultine, Dilyivka, Druzhba, North and South of Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy fire from the russian’s aircraft and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled the attacks of russian troops in the Avdiivka and Keramika districts of the Donetsk region. The enemy launched an air strike near Panteleimonivka in Donetsk region. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery at more than 15 settlements, including Keramik, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Yasnobrodivka, and Karlivka of the Donetsk region.

In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the advance of russian troops in the Maryinka area. The russian troops launched an airstrike near Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. They shelled more than 15 settlements, including Maryinka, Georgiivka, Maksimilianivka, Pobyeda, Elizavetivka, and Katerynivka.

In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Novomykhailivka. russian airstrikes reported near Zolotaya Niva, Makarivka and Rivnopol, Donetsk region. russian occupiers shelled the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Novoukrayinka, Prechistivka, Zolota Niva and Velika Novosilka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. They carried out artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, including Levadne, Olhivske, Malynivka, Yehorivka, and Orihiv of Zaporizhzhia region; the settlements of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region; Shlyakhove, Tyaginka, Romashkove, Sofiivka, Stanislav of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict fire damage with artillery on identified enemy targets, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.

In the temporarily occupied Berdyansk of the Zaporizhzhia region, as a result of a direct hit on the Duna hotel, during the night, it was recorded that the bodies of Russian servicemen were being taken by trucks to the local morgue.

The russian forces also intensified counterintelligence measures in the temporarily occupied Mariupol. The occupiers carry out mass raids on houses and apartments of local residents, check personal documents and mobile devices. In this way, the occupiers are trying to intimidate the local population and identify those who help the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces has struck 6 strikes on the areas where the enemy’s personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated, and 4 – on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.

During the day, units of missile forces and artillery hit 1 control post, 16 artillery pieces in firing positions, 4 anti-aircraft missile systems and 2 enemy electronic warfare stations.

In general, Ukrainian soldiers of the past era eliminated 510 Russian invaders, burned – 2 tanks, 9 armored combat vehicles, 23 artillery systems, 4 anti-aircraft guns, 6 air defense vehicles, 26 UAVs of operational-tactical level, 17 vehicles and 5 units of special equipment.
