Kyiv under massive russian ballistic and drone attack

On the night of June 6, Russian occupation forces launched a combined attack on Kyiv using ballistic missiles and drones. Falling debris was recorded in several areas, fires broke out. Three casualties are currently known.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko informs that: “Enemy drones entered the city from the direction of Vyshgorod and Boryspil. Call for medics to Solomianskyi district. The brigade is heading to the scene.”

According to the Head of Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko, falling debris from enemy drones was recorded in Solomianskyi, Holosyivsky and Darnytskyi districts.

Later, Klitschko reported a fire on the 17th floor of a residential building in Darnytskyi district. Fires broke out in Holosiivskyi and Solomianskyi districts as a result of falling debris.

“On the left bank, emergency power outages are possible in some neighborhoods,” Tkachenko reported.

According to him, the attack caused a fire at a civilian infrastructure facility in the Holosiivskyi district.

Tkachenko warned of the threat of a ballistic strike. Than a series of powerful explosions were heard in the city. At 02:18, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported ballistics on Kyiv. The Air Force warned of the entry of Russian cruise missiles into the airspace of the Chernihiv region heading towards Kyiv.

“Preliminarily, the enemy struck a regular educational institution in the Solomyanskyi district,” the head of the KCMA reported.

Explosions continue to be heard in Kyiv until 5:00 a.m.

A residential building in the Solomyanskyi district was hit. In the Holosiivskyi district, there is damage to the territory near the gas station as a result of the enemy attack. There is also information about the wreckage of downed enemy targets in Desnyansky, Darnytsky and Shevchenkivsky districts.

“Currently, three people have been injured in the capital. Two of them were hospitalized by doctors, one was treated on the spot,” the mayor of Kyiv reported.

Due to very preliminary information, it was the largest attack russia can carry out on Ukraine in one night as of today.
