Ukrainian drones hit Russian port Kavkaz and railway ferry in the Krasnodar region .
24TV Channel reports that unknown drone attack the “Kavkaz” port in the Krasnodar region. There are also claims online that a russian ferry was hit.
Initially, the “Crimean Wind” publication reported the hit on the “Kavkaz” port. This was later confirmed by the head of Kuban, Russia.
Details about the attack on “Kavkaz” port
The attack on the port was reported on the morning of July 23. Local residents mentioned a fire and noted that many ambulances and firefighters headed toward the port.
Interestingly, messages about the hit on the port were actively deleted from Russian social media. Later, the head of Kuban, Veniamin Kondratyev, confirmed the hit, stating that the “Kavkaz” was attacked by Ukrainian drones. He also mentioned that there were injured and one fatality.
“This morning, a ferry vessel in the ‘Kavkaz’ port was attacked by drones. Emergency services are currently working at the scene. The fire is localized, and there is no threat of it spreading. Unfortunately, there are injured and one fatality among the crew members and port staff,” he said.
There are no further details about this attack at the moment. The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on the situation.
