The Shaikovka airfield and the Kubinka airbase in the Moscow Region came under Ukrainian drones attack
In Russia’s Kaluga Region, the Shaikovka airfield was hit by the Ukrainian drones attack, in the Moscow Region, the Kubinka airbase was struck.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.
He stated that the Shaikovka airfield, which hosts Tu-22M3 bombers and stores missiles, including Kh-22s, was hit.
The Kubinka airbase, where Su-27 and MiG-29 aircraft are stationed, was also struck.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Kovalenko had previously announced that a fiber optic systems plant in Saransk — a key element of Russia’s defense industry in the field of modern military communications — was hit. The plant specializes in producing fiber optic cables and communication systems for the Russian army, including for fiber-optic-guided drones.
In Tula, the JSC “Instrument Design Bureau,” one of the flagships of Russia’s military-industrial complex specializing in the development of modern weapons systems, including anti-tank systems, small arms, and combat modules, was attacked.
Also in Tula, “SPLAV” — the main developer of the Grad, Uragan, and Smerch multiple launch rocket systems — came under attack.
