To the memory of Volodymyr Rybak: two years since the murder

  • Date: April 17, 2016

  • Venue: The Heavenly Hundred Heroes Alley, Kyiv, Ukraine

Back in spring 2014, all those who took part in Euromaidan rallies (in both Kyiv and Donetsk) were declared the enemies and were put on a ‘hit list’ by so-called Donetsk people Republic’s militants. Things got really jolly when the bandits got their hands on firearms.
It was the times, when the minimal retribution for anyone who publicly supported Ukraine and the Ukrainian position was being dragged ‘to the outhouse.’
A member of the city council in Horlivka Volodymyr Rybak was abducted by the Russian proxies and eventually found near Sloviansk with a gutted stomach. Why? Only because he refused to let the ‘russistas’ raise the tricolor over the City Council building. Just for that.
In 2015, a year since the murder, the memorial plaque to Volodymyr Rybak was opened in the city of Sloviansk [leberated territory in eastern Ukraine].
This year Volodymyr’s widow Elena calls friends, relatives and all those who remembers him to attend commemorative event at the Heavenly Hundred Heroes Alley in Kyiv on April 17, 2016 at 16:00 PM (local time).
Two years ago at that time a patriotic rally started in the center of Horlivka. The tragedy happened right after the rally.
Here is the last video of alive Volodymyr, showing his last public words and the moment when he was kidnapped:

Ukraine remembers. RIP Volodymyr! Heroes never die!

  • This looks dreadful and confusing. Police could not stop the jackals attacking and taking him away. Poor man, it was planned right? ?

    • I do not know about these pair of police officers, but some of the police collaborated, or were bribed to collaborate with Russia. In a word, their actions were treasonous.
It is really unbearable to watch, considering that we know what happened next.
