Netflix, the world’s leading Internet TV network, will premiere the original documentary Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom, directed by Evgeny Afineevsky, on Friday, October 9, 2015 exclusively to Netflix members worldwide.

 

‘Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom’ is produced by Netflix, Evgeny Afineevsky – Tolmor Production, UkrStream.TV and SPN Production, in association with Passion Pictures, Campbell Grobman Films and Rock Paper Scissors Entertainment.

Documentary shows chronology of Euromaidan protests in Ukraine – movement of citizens, who were fighting for democracy and freedom, against corrupted state machine and dictator President and his allies.

Unique footage about Euromaidan revolution is far from fairytale; it’s heartbreaking story showing strong will, unbreakable spirit, but also freedom of speech violations, real pain, detentions, and unarmed citizens deaths.

Unfortunately, almost 2 years passed since those days of Euromaidan riots, but Ukrainian democracy not found so far.

Thus, the last packshot of the Euromaidan documentary ‘Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom’ should be better changed to ‘…to be continue’ from ‘…the end’.

Euromaidan story has been also carefully collected by EMPR team and our contributors (UA citizens) step by step since the very first days of the Revolution of Dignity in Ukraine.
