The movie “Mavka. The Forest Song” will be shown in Ukrainian in theaters in the USA and Canada.
The animated film “Mavka. The Forest Song” will be released in Ukrainian in May on the big screens of the United States and Canada.
The Ukrainian State Film Agency announced this.
The first screenings of the cartoon will take place:
on May 13 – at Cinema Village in New York,
on May 14 – at The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan in New York,
on May 20 – at Landmark’s Hillcrest Cinemas, the film will be screened in San Diego,
on May 24 – at Landmark’s Century Theater in Chicago,
on May 24 – the film will be screened at Landmark Bethesda Row in Washington, D.C.,
on May 29 – at Savor Cinema in Miami,
on July 1 – the cartoon will be shown at Landmark’s Ritz Five in Philadelphia,
on July 4 – at Elk Grove Classic Cinemas in Chicago.
Details about the Los Angeles screening will be announced later.
In Canada, Ukrainian animation film “Mavka” is scheduled for the following dates:
on May 27 – Toronto, Film.CA,
on May 20 – Vancouver, Rio,
on May 27 – Victoria, Vic Theatre,
on May 28 – Pitt Meadows, Hollywood 3,
on May 27 – Montreal, Cinematique.
The English theatrical release of the animated film will be announced separately.
“Mavka” will also premiere on digital platforms in the U.S. and Canada.
