Ukraine signs a strategic agreement with Russia

Ukrainian company JSC Ukrtransnafta and Russian PJSC Transneft signed starategic agreement on oil transit through Ukraine.

Ukrainian state company JSC Ukrtransnafta and Russian PJSC Transneft signed an additional agreement to the contract for oil transit through Ukraine, extending it for ten years – from January 1, 2020 to January 1, 2030.

This is reported by Ukrtransnafta press service.

The document was signed by Ukrtransnafta CEO Mykola Havrylenko and Transneft Vice-President Sergey Andronov.

The conclusion of the additional agreement ensures a safe and sustainable operation of Ukraine’s oil transportation system on a long-term basis, provides a basis for loading the Company’s system of main oil pipelines with transit volumes of oil towards European countries.
