The Polish company Biotrem, which manufactures organic cookware, has opened a representative office in Ukraine.
After using the cookware, you can feed animals and birds with it.
The company patented a technology that allows making disposable dishes from wheat and corn bran, products ofcassava and algae processing, as well as vegetable based polymers. The raw material is compressed under hot air.
A ton of wheat bran can be made into 10,000 dishes or bowls!
A set of dishes includes plates, cups, forks and knives. The cookware is quite solid and durable to warm up food in it. After using, you can feed animals and birds with theplates. The manufacturer assures that such dishes are completely decomposed in 30 days. Forks and knives are also made with an addition of vegetable based polymers, which greatly increases the time of decomposition.
The developers assure that a kilogram of wheat bran – wheat processing, transportation, recycling and utilization – generates about 1.3 kg of CO2, while a kilogram of polystyrene disposable plates or cups generates a total of about 8.5 kg of CO2.
Biotrem has its own plant and supplies its products to wholesale customers, including restaurants and retailers, directly or through independent distributors.
