Russian massive attack on Ukraine: deaths in many regions

On the night of May 25, Russian troops massively attacked Ukraine with strike drones and missiles of various types. As a result, there are deaths and injuries in several regions – in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Mykolaiv regions.

Kyiv
Civil infrastructure has come under attack from the Russians. As of 4:00, 11 people aged 18 to 62 were known to have been injured, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported. The State Emergency Service reports 11 injured. More details here.

A dormitory was damaged in the Holosiivskyi district – the fire has already been extinguished. Debris from downed Russian drones fell in several places. In the Dniprovskyi district, the second floor of a private house was destroyed, and in Shevchenkivskyi a business center was damaged.

Kyiv Region
Four people were killed in a massive Russian attack. Another 16 people were injured, including three children, the State Emergency Service reported.

Night attack on Kyiv region: 4 dead, 16 wounded, including 3 children.
In the Brovary district — fires were recorded in two warehouses.

Two people died in the Obukhiv district of the Kyiv region.

Obukhiv district, village of Dolyna — fire in two temporary structures, 2 people died.

Another person died in the Bucha district.

In the Bucha district, Makariv village – 1 person killed, 1 more injured, fire and destruction of a residential building recorded.

In the Fastiv district, one person died and 8 were injured.

In the Fastiv district, village of Markhalivka — 1 dead, 8 wounded (including a child), 3 houses completely destroyed, 2 more caught fire.

There are also injuries in the Bila Tserkva district and the city of Bila Tserkva.

In the Bila Tserkva district, village of Chmyrivka – 5 people injured, including 2 children; 2 residential buildings damaged by fire.

In the city of Bila Tserkva – russian attack drone debris injured a man, a frame industrial building was destroyed (no casualties).

Khmelnytskyi Region
Previously, four people were killed – Russian troops were hitting civilian infrastructure. The State Emergency Service specifies that five more people received shrapnel wounds and are now in the hospital, one of them is in serious condition.

The Russian attack destroyed six private residential buildings, and more than 20 were damaged.

Zhytomyr region
Three children aged 8, 12 and 17 were killed in the Russian attack. Rescuers have already unblocked the body of one of the victims. 10 people were injured. Civilian buildings were also hit by the Russian attack.

In the Berdychiv district, 2 people were injured, including a child. A five-story building, private houses and outbuildings were damaged.

Mykolaiv
At night, Russian troops massively attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed-type strike drones. A 77-year-old man was killed. Five people were injured, including a 17-year-old boy — he is in serious condition, said Vitaly Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

The attack damaged infrastructure, office buildings, private homes, and power lines in various areas of the city. Two floors of an apartment building were destroyed.

Kharkiv
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, an office building was hit as a result of the attack. The glazing in several apartment buildings was damaged. Three people were injured in the Russian attack. Among them, one child was injured by glass fragments, said the city’s mayor, Igor Terekhov.

Ternopil, Sumy and Chernigiv regions
In Ternopil and Sumy, enterprises were damaged. The city of Konotop in Sumy region was also under a massive combined strike – some streets were cut off, an infrastructure facility was destroyed.

Chernihiv region was subjected to an air attack using UAVs and missiles. There were hits in several districts. The largest fire covered over 1,000 m². A coal hangar and a non-residential building were burning separately. A building was damaged in Chernihiv itself – information about the victims is being clarified.

This is the second night in a row that Russian forces have launched a massive attack on Ukraine.

On the night of May 24, the Russians launched 14 Iskander-M/KN ballistic missiles and 250 Shahed strike UAVs and various types of drone simulators. The main direction of the enemy attack was Kyiv.
