Poland scrambled fighter jets due to massive Russian strike on Ukraine

On the night of May 25, in connection with the massive Russian missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, Polish and allied aviation began operations in the airspace of Poland.

This was reported by the Polish Ministry of Defense.

According to the report, the Operational Command of the country’s Armed Forces deployed all available forces and means: additional fighters were launched into the air, and air defense and radar systems were put on high alert.

“The steps taken are aimed at ensuring the security of regions bordering high-threat zones,” the department noted.

The command also emphasized that the situation is under constant control, and the units remain fully prepared for an operational response.
