The russian Federation continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite the significant losses, he does not give up his plans for the full occupation of our territory. The adversary continues to kill the civilian population of Ukraine, and continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes, attacks both military and civilian objects.
On the night of July 11, 2023, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the southeastern direction, namely from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, with Iranian shahed drones. A total of 28 kamikaze drones have been launched. As a result of successful combat operations, Ukrainain air defense destroyed 26 drones and one reconnaissance drone of the “Zala” type.
During the past day, the russian occupiers launched a rocket attack on the territory of one of the infrastructure facilities of Mykolaiv. Also, the enemy launched 48 airstrikes and launched 60 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, in addition to destroyed infrastructure, civilians suffered.
The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions, heavy battles are ongoing. 30 combat clashes took place during the day.
In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.
The russian occupiers maintains a military presence in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. During the past day, airstrikes were carried out in the Basove, Odnorobivka and Veterinarne districts of the Kharkiv region. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of about 10 settlements, in particular, Girsk, Chernihiv region; Chuykivka of the Sumy region and Uda, Veterinarne, Ohirtseve, Zemlyanka of the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense. Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masyutivka, Kislivka of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Lyman direction, during the day, the enemy carried out airstrikes in Terna, Zvanivka, Rozdolivka, Belogorivka settlements of the Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements, including Nevske, Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, Ivano-Daryivka, Berestov, Vesele, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy fire from the enemy’s artillery, our defenders successfully repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the area of Hryhorivka, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Druzhba and Toretsk settlements. More than 10 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Bogdanivka, Khromov, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and Pivdenne of the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiyivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Northern region of Donetsk region. The enemy launched an air strike near Avdiivka. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, including Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, under enemy artillery fire, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka settlements. The enemy launched an airstrike near Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. He shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Georgiivka, and Pobieda.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Novomykhailivka area of the Donetsk region. Conducted an air strike in the Odradny area. More than 10 settlements were shelled, in particular, Vugledar, Storozheve, Blagodatne of the Donetsk region were affected.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. He carried out artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Malynyvka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Orihiv of the Zaporizhzhia region; Beryslav, Kozatske, Lviv, Antonivka, Inzhenerne, Dniprovske of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, and are entrenched at the achieved boundaries.
Russian invaders continue to seize children’s preschools in temporarily occupied settlements of Ukraine. They convert Ukrainian kindergartens and schools into hospitals for medical care of their wounded terrorists. For example, in the city of Tokmak, the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, the invaders recently converted a kindergarten into a military hospital. Currently, about 100 Russians with injuries of various degrees of severity are being treated there.
Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 15 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel composition, weapons and military equipment of the enemy. Our defenders also destroyed 3 operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs.
During the day, units of missile troops and artillery hit the command post, 3 areas of concentration of manpower, an ammunition depot, 7 artillery pieces in firing positions, a radio-electronic warfare station and one means of enemy air defense.
In general, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 540 Russian invaders, destroyed 4 tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles, 14 artillery systems, 4 anti-aircraft guns, 1 Russian helicopter, 7 UAVs of the operational-tactical level, 29 vehicles and 8 units of special equipment.
