The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol, Berdyansk, and Bakhmut directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict artillery fire on identified enemy targets, and carry out anti-battery measures.
The cities of Bakhmut further north and south continue to put pressure on the enemy, in some places there is progress, they knock the enemy out of previously captured lines. The enemy is putting up strong resistance, is actively using reserves, and is suffering huge losses. Heavy fighting is going on here.
On the night of July 6, 2023, the russian occupiers committed another terrorist act. Lviv Oblast was attacked. Around the 1st of the night, the enemy struck from the waters of the Black Sea – Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from surface carriers and submarines. Several groups of rockets were recorded, which first headed in a northern direction, using the topography of the area and the channel of the Dnieper, and then abruptly changed course to the West. As a result of the combat work of the Air Defense Forces, it was possible to destroy seven out of ten Kalibr cruise missiles. Unfortunately, there are hits on civilian objects in the city of Lviv.
During the past day, the russian occupiers struck with five Iranian shahed drones. Two kamikaze drones were destroyed by our air defense. Also, the russian occupiers carried out 59 airstrikes and fired 65 rocket salvo fire systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions – 38 combat clashes took place during the past day.
In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. No signs of formation of enemy offensive groups were detected. Several units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.
The enemy maintains a military presence in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. He carried out airstrikes in the districts of Hrabovsky, Sumy region; Pletenivky of the Kharkiv region and the city of Kharkiv. During the day, he carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 35 settlements, in particular, Girsk, Oleksandrivka, Tymonovichi of Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Stukalyvka, Basivka in the Sumy region and Veterinarne, Kozacha Lopan, Zelene and Gatishche in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy does not stop trying to advance in the Novoselyvskyi district of the Luhansk region. Our soldiers are firmly on the defensive, repelling all enemy attacks. The occupiers carried out airstrikes in the Ivanivka and Kislivka districts of the Kharkiv region. Petro-Ivanivka, Figolivka, Monachynivka, Gusynka, Novomlynsk and Kislivka of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy, in the course of offensive operations, tried to dislodge our troops from their occupied positions in the Novoyehorivka area of the Luhansk region, but was unsuccessful. He carried out an airstrike in the region of Belogorivka, Luhansk region. More than 10 settlements, including Nevske, Belogorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire.
In the direction of Bakhmut, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas south of Berkhivka and Bohdanivka, Donetsk region. At the same time, they continue to conduct offensive actions to the south and north of the city of Bakhmut, and are entrenched at the achieved boundaries. The enemy launched airstrikes in the Bohdanivka and Toretsk districts. More than 10 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Markove, Khromove, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and North of Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to deter the advance of Russian troops in the area of the city of Avdiivka. At the same time, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the Avdiyivka and Nevelsky areas. He carried out artillery fire on more than 15 settlements, in particular, Berdychi, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severna, Nevelske and Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region were affected.
In the Mariinka direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Marinka. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the Krasnohorivka region of the Donetsk region. He shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Hanivka, Maryinka, and Pobyeda of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Shakhtarsky, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the districts of Zolotaya Niva, Odradny, Makarivka, and Rivopol in Donetsk region. He shelled more than 15 settlements, including Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Novoukrainka and Prechistivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. He carried out airstrikes in the districts of Havrylivka, Novodarivka, Zmiivka and Antonivka of the Kherson region. He carried out artillery shelling of more than 40 settlements, including Levadne, Olhivske, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Biloghirya of the Zaporizhzhia region; Tokarivka, Antonivka, Veletenske, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.
The Russian invaders, who are conducting military operations in the territory of the Donetsk region, complain about the lack of vacations in the units, including for family reasons. The commanders refuse to sign the reports, citing an alleged prohibition order from the higher command. At the same time, the commanders of individual units encourage mobilized Russian occupiers who have signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on weekends.
Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 13 strikes on the areas where the occupying personnel are concentrated and destroyed 1 anti-aircraft missile system of the enemy.
Over the past 24 hours, units of missile troops and artillery hit 1 area of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 4 control points, 1 ammunition depot, 8 artillery pieces in firing positions, 2 anti-aircraft defenses, 1 radar station and 4 stations of the enemy’s radio-electronic warfare.
Last day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a total of 600 Russian invaders, burned 6 enemy tanks, 15 armored combat vehicles, 22 artillery systems, one anti-aircraft missile system, 9 enemy anti-aircraft vehicles, 21 operational-technical level UAVs, 23 vehicles and 7 units of special equipment.
