Ukraine will receive multifunctional F-16 fighters from partner countries – the decision has been made.
This was announced by the spokesman for the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Yuriy Ihnat.
“The rest is a matter of time. We must understand that without the processes that need to be overcome, including training of pilots, engineers, and infrastructure preparation, the transfer of aircraft is impossible. And it takes time,” Ihnat said.
In addition, he emphasized that Ukraine is considering obtaining other types of aircraft that could enhance the combat capabilities of Ukrainian aviation: “These include multifunctional twin-engine fighters such as F-18, F-15, Eurofighter Typhoon, i.e. aircraft with more capabilities and a wider range of use.”
Let’s remind, that today the head of the NATO Military Committee, Rob Bauer assumed that “Ukraine will not receive modern Western fighter jets until its counteroffensive is completed.” When he was asked if he thought Ukraine could win the war without fighter jets, Bauer added: “I think that Ukraine has an advantage because it has Western weapon systems, it has better training and, very importantly, much higher morale and motivation.”
If Ukraine had proper air support the russians would have already been defeated.

So now, delaying the weaponry and making such statements @NATO would better watch Prigoshyn with nuces waving you nearby Poland and Baltic's borders. https://t.co/wTEU289Dy4
