Why do the Ukrainian authorities and the military keep counter offensive in informational silence

Ukrainian counter offensive operation looks hidden for many citizens. We mostly dicrover what has happened at the frontlines from the western media or russian propaganda channels. The General Staff of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defence comment very cautiously each movement or victory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Colonel Valery Kur, founder of the criminal intelligence service, discover more on why such a strategy was chosen.

Good day Valery. Glory to Ukraine!

Good day! Glory to the heroes! And glory to all Ukrainians.

For at least a week there has been an active phase of a counter offensive, I formulate it deliberately, because the preparatory phase has been going on for a month, or even two. So it’s already been an active phase for a week. But we learn the details mainly from the foreign media. Why is it so? Why do the Ukrainian authorities and the military keep everything in informational silence? What is the point?

This is a secret for you, for all the civilians. In fact this is an operative and secret combination, in order to direct the enemy in the direction that we want. In forensics, it’s called a false trail. In the same way I used to fight with organized crime in my department of criminal intelligence, our Ukrainian special services and our Western colleagues work in the same way today.

Why? What is Russia? Russia is an organized criminal group.

Where there are all its attributes: banditry, mafia elements, gangsterism robbery – the whole complex. From pick-pocketing to transnational corporations, let us say, international drug trafficking.

Therefore, our intelligence services, knowing the psychology of the enemy, work very skillfully with the diversion to the area and the spectrum of their thinking.

As zombification.

This is not a secret – this is what a special operation is all about.

But you see the Russians take advantage of this, because we have a regime of informational silence. They throw in their disinformation. This video, where one Leopard and five BMPs were shot down, they have been broadcasting in all their information channels for five days. Does it work?

It works for the electorate, who agrees to be “fooled”. Well, I’m sorry, we can’t educate all Ukrainians at once, ours who were in the “sovok”.

What is more important for us now is not the impact on the electorate, but what is really happening on the battlefield.

Sometimes this can be called information dumping. Our intelligence agencies are good, sometimes leaking things to the enemy through the Western media, but not to our own. But our (viewers and readers) are fooled – but what can they do.

They have launched a new term now: PSYOP. In fact it is operative – a specially conceived combination of agents and our special services work with our Western colleagues.

This is very good.

And as for the russian electorate – well, let them be fooled. That’s what we need – they’re stuck. And they are there, like in a shell. And it’s very important for us (intelligence services) to throw information in there. Like the attacks, the wounding and the attempted assassination of Zaluzhny and now Budanov, it’s very good that that happens.

The russians, who are in their own shells, should receive a lot of information, which is being formed with our Western colleagues to steer them astray.

They [russians] have to be in a constant state of suspense. You know, the expectation is much worse than the act itself, which must seem to destroy you. That’s what waiting will do to you, before the act starts.

And our fellow citizens, and those who are on our side in this war, must trust our government and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is what they have proven and earned by their actions since February 24, 2022.

Wait for the official information and do not give in to panic rumors.
