The operational update of the General Staff of Ukraine for the last 24 hours of Russia – Ukraine war as of 6:00 a.m., March 11, 2023.

381 day of the russian large-scale invasion has begun.

Over the past day, the russian forces launched 29 air strikes and 4 missile strikes on Donetsk oblast. The occupiers also fired 100 rockets from multiple rocket launchers. Civilians have been injured and civilian infrastructure and residential buildings have been damaged.


The threat of missile strikes remains significant throughout the territory of Ukraine.


The russian occupiers does not stop trying to enter the administrative border of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. The main efforts are focused on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions. Last day, our soldiers repelled more than 100 enemy attacks in the indicated directions.


On the Volyn, Poliske, Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. The formation of offensive groups of the enemy was not detected. The enemy continues the engineering equipment of the terrain in the border areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions. The occupiers shelled the areas of Senkivka, Yeline, Gai and Leonivka settlements of Chernihiv Oblasts with mortars and artillery; Znob-Novgorodske, Seredyna-Buda, Khodyna and Atynske in Sumy Oblast and Strelecha, Staritsa, Ohirtseve, Ambarne, Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne and Kamianka in Kharkiv Oblast.


In the Lyman direction, the enemy is trying to improve the tactical position. russian forces led unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Hryanikyvka, Masyutivka, Nevske, Kreminna, Bilogorivka, Spirne and Fedorivka. carried out artillery shelling of more than 20 districts of settlements, in particular, Hryanikyvka, Masyutivka, Kislivka, Pischany and Krokhmalnoy in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivsky, Stelmakhivka, Nevsky and Kuzmyny in the Luhansk Oblast.


In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy does not stop its assaults – our defenders repelled numerous attacks in the areas of Zaliznyanske, Paraskoviivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka and Ivanovske settlements. 19 settlements, in particular, Vasyukivka, Zaliznianske, Minkivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ozaryanivka, Oleksandro-Shultine, Kostyantynivka, Mayorsk and New York of the Donetsk oblast, were hit by enemy shelling.


On the Avdiivskyi, Maryinskyi, and Shakhtarskyi directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the directions of Kamianka, Avdiivka, Tonenkoi, Severnyi, Vodiani, Pervomaiskyi, Nevelskyi, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk oblast. In particular, the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Severne, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Maryinka, Georgiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Vugledar were hit by enemy shelling.


The enemy conducted defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. Areas of more than 30 settlements were shelled, including Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Kairy, Kozatske, Mykolaivka, Ivanivka, Ingulets, Molodizhne, Inzhenerne and Kherson.


In some settlements of the temporarily occupied and occupied territory of the Donetsk region, the russian occupiers continue to put pressure on local residents. So, in particular, entry of citizens without registration is completely prohibited in Volodymyrivka. Roadblocks have been set up, local residents are prohibited from moving through the streets.


During the day, the Ukrainian aviation carried out 11 strikes on areas where the occupiers were concentrated and struck the position of the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile complex.


Also, our defenders shot down an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle of the “Orlan-10” type.
Units of rocket forces and artillery hit 5 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, 1 means of anti-aircraft defense and an enemy ammunition depot.
