More than half of the occupation troops are still on the right bank of the Kherson region - intelligence

The Defence Intelligence of the Defence Ministry of Ukraine reports that half of the occupation troops are still on the right bank of the Kherson region.

Kyiv.  11th of November, 2022 – More than half of the occupying troops are still on the right bank of the Kherson region, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, writes UNN.

“More than half of the Russian forces that were stationed on the right bank are still there. This is a force that was previously estimated at 20,000 people,” said Vadim Skibitsky, a spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

According to him, “the latest information we have is that the fourth tactical military base has been transferred to the left bank.”  The rest of the troops are still there, fighting and conducting military operations in order to cover the exit of others, the representative of the GUR said.

According to a representative of the military intelligence of Ukraine, the invaders are retreating from the second line of defense, to which they were thrown back by Ukrainian forces in early October.  But they built a line of defense around Kherson – and “time will tell” whether they decide to defend the city.

On November 11, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially announced that during the successful offensive operations of our troops in the Kherson direction, on November 9 of this year, 12 settlements were liberated.  And that offensive actions in the indicated direction continue.  Therefore, for security reasons, the official publication of the results will be later.

Meanwhile, the web is already publishing photos from the center of Kherson with people with Ukrainian flags.

And the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak published a laconic post “11/11/22”, as if hinting that today could become a landmark.
