Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  September 24, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces violated ceasefire regime 18 times in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, including 4 times on Luhansk direction, 10 times on Donetsk direction and 4 times on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian forces waged warfare around Bahmut root, in particular in Krymske and Novotoshkivske, where they used small arms and also released several mines upon Ukrainian troops positions;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian occupiers intensified activities all across the frontline, but the hottest spot was Avdiivka;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian proxies fired with small arms at Pavlopil – Shyrokino front line;
(5) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action and no one wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
