President Petro Poroshenko has issued a statement that in the last 12 months Ukrainian law enforcement agents and special security forces have uncovered more than 300 subversive and reconaissance units operating in Ukraine, radiosvoboda reports.
The subversive and reconaissance units were trained in Russia, in the Kursk, Belgorod, and Rostov regions, the President noted.
Odesa and Kharkiv, far from Donbas, have been targets of subversive and terrorist acts.
In the last few days two explosions have taken place in a part of Kherson Oblast that is close to occupied Crimea. On April 21 a grenade exploded in a store in Henichesk, Kherson Oblast. An explosion that took place on April 14, in Novooleksiivka, in the Henichesk region, has been designated as an act of terrorism. One person was killed and four people were injured. The perpetrators of the act have not been found yet.
