Ukraine war updates on March 15, 2016 by  ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on  ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights

 (1) Russian armed forces don’t stop firing upon Ukrainian troops in the war zone in eastern Ukraine: over the last day they fired 44 times, 29 of them in Donetsk direction, 12 times on Mariupol direction and 1 time on Luhansk direction;

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian enemy violated ceasefire regime once in Novotoshyvsky distict and opened fire from 82-mm mortar launchers upon Ukrainain positions there;

(3) Donetsk direction: Zayteve and Avdyivka are hottest spots for Russian attacks on this direction over the last 24 hours; Russian armed forces fired more than 20 times from tank on Ukrainain positions near the village of Novotoshkyvske in the area of Bakhmutovska root; Russian forces opened fire 6 times upon Ukrainain troops on the Svytlodarska line near Zaytseve (using 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns) and in Novgorodske as well as in Mayorsk (with the use of grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms); automatic grenade launcher and large caliber machine guns were used by the Russian forces near Luhanske, Pisky, Donetsk airport and Verkhnyotoretske; finally, Ukrainian fortifications near Avdyivka came under Russian fire from automatic grenade launcher and mortars;

(4) Mariupol direction: Russian tanks fired 18 projectiles and 82-mm and 120-mm mortars fired with mines upon Ukrainian troop positions near Novotroytske; Ukrainian positions in the settlements of  Maryinka, Krasnogoryvka, Talakyvka and Shyjoniko came also under Russian fire; in certain cases Ukrainian servicemen returned fire on Russian troop using small arms and grenades; 

(5) 100 Russian special forces arrived to Dokuchaevsk (Donetsk Oblast) on 4 trucks and 2 armor vehicles;

(6) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian serviceman in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours, but 2 Ukrainain servicemen were wounded in action.
