Youtube bans video comparing Putin’s Russia with Hitler’s Germany

Date: Jan 18, 2018

Location: EU

Youtube bans video comparing Putin’s Russia with Hitler’s Germany right before the Second World War, and disturbing similarities between the present-day Russian society and the German society of 1930’s were shown in parallel.

This “forbidden” video can be watched here and here

It all started with mass-flagging the video as containing “misleading hashtags”.

Two weeks ago, a video of Putin’s main oppositioner Navalny was banned exactly in the same way by Kremlin’s troll factory.

The army of Kremlin trolls also used the same technique of false flagging to block Ukrainian groups on Facebook

However, Youtube volunteered to use “misleading hashtags” “complaint” to escalate it to “hate speech” complaint.

NewsFromUkraine was informed that the video would be banned in European countries and territories, however, it is currently banned worldwide.
