Former Ukraine prosecutor Viktor Pshonka urgently escapes to Russia

Former Ukraine prosecutor Viktor Pshonka urgently escapes to Russia from Donetsk International Airport while his body guards opened fire.

On February 22, 2014 Prosecutor General Victor Pshonka and Minister of Tax and Colletions of Ukraine Alexandr Klimenko attempted to runaway from Ukraine through VIP terminal of Donetsk International Airport. When Ukrainian border guards tried to stop them, Pshonka’s body guards opened fire. Spokesman of State Border Services Sergey Astakhov said, that Pshonka and Klimenko had been denied permit to leave Ukraine for overseas. Astakhov also stressed that body guards of two former officials had offered physical resistance to the border authorities and thus had succeeded in a runaway.
