Trump could offer a peace deal in exchange for access to Ukraine’s natural resources worth $7 trillion

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump could astonish the world by brokering a peace deal beneficial to both Ukraine and Washington. Trump’s main priority might be economic gains rather than geopolitical ambitions.

This is reported by the German publication Bild. Ukraine possesses vast natural resources valued at approximately $7 trillion, including strategically critical uranium, lithium, titanium, and graphite.

The article suggests that the Trump administration, which previously criticized financial aid to Ukraine, might change its stance by finding a way to recover investments through joint exploitation of Ukraine’s resources. Earlier, Trump adviser Lindsey Graham called Ukraine “the richest country in Europe” and emphasized the potential for cooperation.
