China has declared its readiness to help Ukraine with post-war reconstruction
This was reported by the Chinese publication South China Morning Post, citing the words of Li Min, a spokesperson for the Chinese Agency for International Development and Cooperation, who emphasized that the assistance would be provided according to the wishes of both parties.
This statement is a response to the words of the President of Ukraine, who stated last month that China could help in restoring peace and rebuilding the country, the publication writes.
In addition, Li Min reminded that since the beginning of the Russian war, China has provided Ukraine with four batches of humanitarian aid (the total amount is about $2.3 million).
At the Munich Security Conference in February, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that Beijing considers Kyiv a “friend and partner” and is ready to develop long-term Chinese-Ukrainian relations, the media adds.
