The dissolution of the central MSEC is set to occur by the end of the week

This was announced by the Minister of Health, who added that he had already dismissed the leadership of the central expert commission and the heads of the relevant department of the Ministry of Health responsible for coordinating the activities of the MSEC.

Viktor Lyashko noted that the dismissed MSEC heads should not lead medical institutions in the future.

Additionally, in the wake of the scandals surrounding the MSEC, Lyashko stated that he does not plan to resign, explaining that he is not part of the commission’s hierarchy and does not have the authority to appoint or dismiss its leaders. However, he does have the power to dismiss the head of the central MSEC, which he has done.
