Shahed targeted the National Bank: what happened in the capital last night?

As reported by korabelov.info, last night, Kyiv was hit by another attack from Russian kamikaze drones. The wreckage of the UAVs caused significant damage in the Pechersk and Svyatoshyn districts, reports the Kyiv City Military Administration.

The National Bank of Ukraine was damaged due to the falling drone debris. A fire broke out on the roof of one of the NBU buildings, which was promptly extinguished by State Emergency Service personnel. Windows on the upper floors of the building were damaged. However, all operational systems and services of the National Bank are functioning as usual.

In the Pechersk district, drone debris caused a fire on the roof of a residential building, damaging the top two floors. As a result of the attack, three people sought medical attention, two of whom were hospitalized.

The total number of victims:

a residential building with partial destruction from the 6th to the 4th floors;
a non-residential building in Svyatoshynskyi district, where the debris damaged cars and garages.

A dead woman was found in the rubble in the damaged residential building. Her life was cut short by the aggressor’s actions, which once again proves the cruelty and cynicism of the enemy.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that all emergency services are working at the scene of the tragedy.

“The top two floors of a residential building in Pechersk were partially destroyed. All services are working at the scene. So far, there is one victim, he has been hospitalized,” Klitschko said.

KMDA also reported that they managed to rescue a woman who was in the apartment building.
