SES: The number of wounded in the Dnipro strike has risen to 21
According to Radio Liberty, 21 people were injured as a result of a Russian “Shahed” drone attack on Dnipro, the State Emergency Service (SES) reported.
Rescue workers stated that four people were killed in the drone strike on the city.
“The massive attack caused extensive destruction and fires. A hotel and restaurant complex, 11 private houses, garages, and a car service station were set ablaze. Apartment buildings and 21 vehicles were also damaged,” the agency reported.
Additionally, two firefighting and rescue vehicles were damaged.
The SES clarified that the fires have now been extinguished, with over 150 rescue workers and 40 units of equipment involved in the operation.
Earlier, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region reported damage in Dnipro following a Russian drone attack on the evening of March 28. At that time, four people were confirmed dead, and 15 were injured.
Russian forces regularly attack Ukrainian regions using various types of weaponry, including strike UAVs, missiles, guided bombs (KABs), and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
The Russian leadership denies that its army deliberately targets civilian infrastructure in Ukrainian cities and villages during the full-scale war, despite killing civilians and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy facilities, and water supply systems.
Ukrainian authorities and international organizations classify these attacks as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation, emphasizing their deliberate nature.
