Coronavirus in Ukraine updates: Day 23

On March 3, 2020 the first coronavirus case was confirmed in Ukraine.

EMPR provides daily updates on number of suspected, confirmed, recovered and death cases in Ukraine, including the regional dimensions.

The Ministry of Health officially informed on 43 new coronavirus cases during the day of March 25, 2020 (data on March 26, 10 a.m. kyiv time).

New cases geographical dimensions are as follows: 11 – in Ivano-Frankivsk, 11 – in Ternopil, 5 – Zaporyzhska, 4 – Chernivetska, 3 – in Kyiv city, 3 – in Odesa, 2 – in Kyiv Oblast, 1 -in Vinnytska, 1 – in Volynska, 1 – in Cherkaska.

Public Health Center reports on total 156 cases laboratory confirmed as COVID-19 positive in Ukraine (official data on March 26, 2020, 10 a.m. kyiv time). 37 cases are being tested, the rest have been tested as negative. 1124 cases have been laboratory tested (+183 for the last day) from the beginning of the year.

1 case in Vinnytska (active),

2 cases in Volynska (active),

2 cases in Dnipropertovska (active),

1 case in Donetska (active),

7 cases in Zaporizhska (active),

2 cases in Zhytomyrska (1 death and 1 active),

16 cases in Ivano-Frankivska (2 deaths and 14 active),

34 cases in Kyiv city (all active),

24 cases in Kyivska (all active),

2 cases in Lvivska (active),

1 case in Luhanska (active),

4 cases in Odeska (active),

15 cases in Ternopilska (1 death and 14 active),

1 case in Khersonska (active),

42 cases in Chernivetska (1 death, 36 active and 1 recovered),

2 cases in Cherkaska (active).

The Presidential Office reports on total 941 cases suspected COVID-19 in Ukraine (+ 185 for the last 24 hours).

Total number of confirmed coronavirus cases increased in 1.4 times for the last 24 hours (6,2 – average world statistics).

In total 5 deaths cases of coronavirus reported in Ukraine. 2 Ukrainians passed away as of coronavirus for the last 24 hours. RIP!

Coronavirus death rate is about 3.2% in Ukraine (0.6 – 3.5% – average world statistics).
