Coronavirus in Ukraine: Day 61

On March 4, 2020 the first coronavirus COVID-19 case was registered in Ukraine. 




EMPR provides daily updates on number of suspected, confirmed, recovered and death cases in Ukraine, including the regional dimensions.

129,723 suspected cases have been laboratory tested (+7,151), Public Health Center reports. 

11,913 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ukraine as of May 3, 2020 (official data on 9:30 a.m. Kyiv time), the Ministry of Health informed. 

Among infected: 829 (+58) children (7.0%) and 2325 (+75) medics (19.5%).

502 new cases reported during the last 24 hours. The number of cases increased in 4.4% for the last day.

308 cases in Cherkaska (+4),

3,565 (+113) Ukrainians with COVID-19 hospitalized (29.1% of total confirmed cases), including 149 (+4) children and 401 (+14) medical workers. 

158 (+7) patients, including 1 children and 14 (+2) medical workers receive ventilation.

9 Ukrainians, passed away for the last 24 hours. RIP! 

In total 288 deaths (including 18 medics) from COVID-19 reported in Ukraine. Death rate is about 2.4%

1,547 (+49) patients recovered from coronavirus in Ukraine, including 27 children and 352 (+17) medics.
