Coronavirus in Ukraine: Day 60

On March 3, 2020 the first coronavirus COVID-19 case was registered in Ukraine. 




EMPR provides daily updates on number of suspected, confirmed, recovered and death cases in Ukraine, including the regional dimensions.

122572 suspected cases have been laboratory tested (+4027), Public Health Center reports. 

11411 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ukraine as of May 2, 2020 (official data on 9:30 a.m. Kyiv time), the Ministry of Health informed. 

Among infected: 771 (+27) children (6.9%) and 2250 (+96) medics (19.7%).

550 new cases reported during the last 24 hours. The number of cases increased in 5.1% for the last day.

3452 (+117) Ukrainians with COVID-19 hospitalized (30.1% of total confirmed cases), including 145 (+1) children and 387 (+18) medical workers. 

151 (+8) patients, including 1 children and 12 (+2) medical workers receive ventilation.

7 Ukrainians, passed away for the last 24 hours. RIP! 

In total 279 deaths (including 17 medics) from COVID-19 reported in Ukraine. Death rate is about 2.5%

1498 (+85) patients recovered from coronavirus in Ukraine, including 27 children and 335 (+18) medical workers.
