Coronavirus in Ukraine: Day 56

On March 3, 2020 the first coronavirus COVID-19 case was registered in Ukraine. 




EMPR provides daily updates on number of suspected, confirmed, recovered and death cases in Ukraine, including the regional dimensions.

98719 suspected cases have been laboratory tested (+5200 for the last 24h), Public Health Center reports. 

9410 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ukraine as of April 28, 2020 (official data on 9:30 a.m. Kyiv time), the Ministry of Health informed. 

401 new cases reported during the last 24 hours. The number of cases increased in 5.6% for the last day.

Among infected: 639 (+25) children (6.8%) and 1843 (+93) medics (19.6%).

2980 (+147) Ukrainians with COVID-19 hospitalized (31.7% of total confirmed cases), including 124 children and 311 (+17) medical workers. 

121 (+11) patients, including 1 children and 7 medical workers receive ventilation.

19 Ukrainians passed away for the last 24 hours. RIP! In total 239 deaths from COVID-19 reported in Ukraine (132 men and 107 women). Death rate is about 2.5%

992 (+128) patients recovered from coronavirus in Ukraine, including 27 children and 209 (+40) medical workers.
