Churches cannot be touched: Pope comments on the ban on religious institutions associated with Russia in Ukraine

Pope Francis stated that “no Christian church should be abolished in Ukraine,” according to Vatican News.

He also expressed “concern for the freedom of those who pray, because those who truly pray always pray for everyone,” and remarked that such a law supposedly forbids people from praying “in the church they consider their own.”
