Crimean activist Kolchenko’s birthday in the Kremlin’s captivity.

Near Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, activists celebrated birthday of political prisoner Crimean activist Kolchenko, illegally kept in Moscow detention centre, Hromadske.tv reports.

On 26 November, Activists and friends of Crimean resident Oleksandr Kolchenko celebrated his 25th birthday near Ukraine’s MFA in Kyiv. They brought a cake depicting Crimea in Ukrainian national colours, balloons and leaflets.

By this action, activists wanted to attract attention of Ukrainian authorities to the case of Ukrainian Crimean Oleksandr Kolchenko, who was detained and accused of terrorism by Russian authorities along with Nadiya Savchenko and Oleg Sentsov.
