Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of September 24, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces increased to 24 the number of attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy used forbidden hard weaponry against Ukrainian troops.

(2) Russian forces launched 13 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

APC fire – near Bogdanivka (4 times),

grenade launchers of different systems – near Bogdanivka and Vodyane (2 times),

automatic grenade launchers – near Novotroytske (2 times) and Pishchevyk,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Hnutove,

small arms – near Talakivka, Novognativka, Krasnogorivka, Novotroytske, Vodyane, Pishchevyk and Bogdanivka.

(3) Russian occupiers launched 11 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Luhanske (3 times),

grenade launchers of different systems – near Popasna (2 times), Orikhove and Novoluhanske (2 times),

grenade launchers – near Luhanske,

small arms – near Luhanske, Popasna, Orikhove, Travneve (2 times), Zaytseve and Novoluhanske.

(4) 2 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in actions for the last 24 hours.
