Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of September 17, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces increased to 23 the number of attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy used forbidden weaponry against Ukrainian troops.

(2) Russian occupiers launched 14 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Vodyane,

grenade launchers of different systems – near Pyshchevyk and Pavlopil (2 times),

automatic grenade launchers – near Verkhnyotoretske,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Lebedynske,

small arms – near Opytne, Mykolayvka, Nevelske, Maryinka, Krasnogorivka, Novotroytske (2 times), Pishchevyk, Verkhnyotoretsk, Vodyane and Pavlopil.

(3) Russian occupiers launched 9 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Luhanske (2 times),

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske (3 times) and Krymske,

grenade launchers – near Luhanske, Krymske and Novotoshkivske,

automatic grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske,

small arms – Novotoshkivske, Novgorodske and Krymske.

(4) 2 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in actions for the past day.
