Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of September 1, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.




(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 20 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the past 24 hours. The enemy used hard weaponry against Ukrainian troops positions.

(2) Russian proxies launched 11 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 122-mm artillery – near Vodyane (6 times),

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Vodyane and Lebedynske (2 times),

grenade launchers of different systems – near Vodyane,

high caliber machine guns – near Vodyane, Lebedynske, Novognativka and Pavlopil,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Pavlopil (2 times),

small arms – near Vodyane.

(3) Russian forces launched 9 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske and Troytske,

forbidden 82-mm mortar laucnhers – near Zaytseve (3 times), Shumy, Troytske and Luhanske (2 times),

APC fire – near Novoluhanske,

automatic grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske,

grenade launchers – near Zaytseve, Novoluhanske and Travneve,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Luhanske,

high caliber machine guns – near Zaytseve and Shumy,

small arms – near Zaytseve, Shumy and Novoluhanske.

(3) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian servicemen for the past day.
