Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of October 9, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 17 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy continue to use forbidden hard weaponry against Ukrainian troops.

(2) Russian occupies launched 10 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Pisky, Opytne,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Novogrygorivka,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Vodyane (3 times), 

grenade launchers of different systems – near Novotroytske (2 times),

small arms – near Pisky, Vodyane, Novotroytske, Pishchevyk and Pavlopil,

(3) Russian proxies launched 7 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Travneve (2 times),

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Travneve (2 times), Hutyr Vilnuy and Novoluhanske,

grenade launchers of different systems – near Luhanske (2 times), Svitlodarsk and Hutyr Vilnuy,

automatic grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske,

small arms – near Novoluhanske, Hutyr Vilnuy and Luhanske,

(4) No lethal casualties and wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian servicemen in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
