Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of October 15, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.   

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 21 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy continue to use hard forbidden weaponry against Ukrainian troops.

(2) Russian occupiers launched 11 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Vodyane and Lebedynske,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – neat Vodyane and Lebedynske,

grenade launchers of different systems – near Novotroytske (3 times), Pishchevyk, Lebedynske, Opytne and Novognativka,

APC fire – near Vodyane,

high caliber machine guns – near Novotroytske and Novognativka,

small arms – near Vodyane, Pishchevyk, Lebedynske and Opytne,

(3) Russian occupiers launched 10 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske (6 times),

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske (2 times),

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Hutyr Vilnuy,

automatic grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske,

grenade launchers – near Luhanske (5 times) and Krymske,

APC fire – near Krymske,

high caliber machine guns – near Luhanske, Krymske and Zolote,

small arms – near Krymske and Hutyr Vilnuy.

(4) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in actions for the last 24 hours.
