Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of October 12, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights. 

(1) Russian hybrid forces decreased to 8 the number of attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy fired with forbidden hard weaponry against Ukrainian troops positions.

(2) Russian occupiers launched 6 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Talakivka,

grenade launchers of different systems – near Vodyane (2 times), 

high caliber machine guns – near Vodyane, Stavne and Novotroytske,

small arms – near Vodyane and Talakivka,

(3) Russian proxies launched 2 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske,

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Pivdenne,

automatic grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske,

high caliber machine guns – near Novoluhanske,

small arms – near Novoluhanske and Pivdenne.

(4) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian servicemen for the last 24 hours.
