Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of November 16, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 13 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy used 120-mm 82-mm mortar launchers during shelling upon Ukrainian troops positions.

(2) Russian proxies launched 6 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Zaytseve (2 times),

APC fire – near Chernenko,

automatic grenade launchers – near Chernenko, Lebedynske, Berezove and Zaytseve,

high caliber machine guns – near Chernenko, Novognativka, Lebedynske and Berezove,

small arms – near Zaytseve (2 times),

(3) Russian forces launched 7 attacks in the East area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Novotoshkivske and Novoluhanske (2 times),

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Mayorsk (2 times), Hutyr Vilnuy and Luhanske,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske (2 times),

APC fire – near Novotoshkivske,

grenade launchers – near Novotoshkivske,

high caliber machine guns – near Mayorsk (2 times) and Novotoshkivske, 

small arms – near Novoluhanske (2 times),

(4) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in actions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
